ICEE

I read two interesting quotes today that I am going to use from now on as the litmus test for what I post to the web.

The first is from Tony Hsieh, a guy who gets it in so many ways. ” Everything I post on the web has to be ICEE. It has to inspire,connect, entertain, or educate!”

The other is from Ashton Kutcher of all people. Say what you want about the guy but he has made some smart bets and they have paid off in big ways. ” social media is not about what you post but what you listen to. Its about sharing the valuable ideas that you hear. You don’t want to be the source of everything, you want to be the pipe for everything!”

Kudos to both for some in my opinion very simple but profound statements. I hope they influence you like they did me.
